If you want to travel to a place with the Caribbean vibe but you don’t want to travel out of the country, the Florida Keys is where you want to go.

- Key Largo
The first and longest island you will run into in the Keys is Key Largo. This Key is self-proclaimed as the dive capital of the world. The main attraction here is John Pennekamp Coral Reef Park, the first underwater preserve in the US. This well-known park offers the best in diving and snorkeling. You can also find two other state parks: Windley Key Fossil Reef Geological State Park and the Long Key State Park. This Key is a perfect playground for adults and it’s just 2 and half hours from Miami.
This island is pretty much the halfway point of the Keys. Marathon is often known as the heart of the Florida Keys and is very family-friendly. Here you can enjoy activities like mini golf, snorkeling, boating and the beautiful white sand beaches of Sombrero Beach. One of the main attractions, Crane Point Hammock, is a 64-acre reserve on some of the most historically and archaeologically-rich land in the Keys! Don’t leave Marathon without taking a trip to the Bahia Honda State Park where you’ll find one of the most beautiful beaches in the United States.
- Big Pine Key
This region has earned the title of the Natural Keys. This is due to the commitment of its citizens and leaders have towards preserving its terrestrial and marine wildlife.
